What Is GH1140 Super Alloy Material?

GH1140 is a Fe-Ni-Cr-based solution-strengthened deformed Superalloy Material, which is strengthened by adding elements such as chromium, tungsten and molybdenum for solution strengthening, and the use temperature is below 850°C. The alloy has moderate thermal strength, high plasticity, good resistance to hot and cold fatigue, microstructural stability and welding process properties. It is suitable for manufacturing combustion chamber plate structural parts and other high-temperature components for aero engines and gas turbines. The main products are plates, rods, pipes, wires, strips and forgings. The alloy has been used in the manufacture of a variety of aero engines and gas turbines such as combustion chamber flame cylinders, afterburner diffusers, rectifier supporters, stabilizers, oil conveying rings, afterburner adjustable nozzle housing pipe joints, bushings and aircraft tail cover skins, and has been put into mass production. The alloy hardens slightly after long-term use in the temperature range of 550°C-800°C, which reduces the plasticity at room temperature. Oxidation along grain boundaries occurs when working for a long time above 700°CC, and can be effectively protected by 65, 66-4, W-2 and W69-1 enamel coatings, or solid impregnated A| and vacuum spray A| coatings. The comprehensive performance of the alloy is high-temperature GH3030 alloy, which is equivalent to GH3039 alloy and can be used as a substitute for these two alloys.
