What Is GH4033 Superalloy Material？

Overview of GH4033 Features and Application Areas:

The Superalloy Material is based on nickel-chromium and adds aluminum and titanium to form a phase diffusion strengthened alloy, which has sufficient high temperature strength at 500-700 °CC and good oxidation resistance below 900 °CC. The High Temperature alloy has good cold and hot processing properties, mainly supplying hot-rolled bars and disc blanks, and is used in engine rotor parts.Our company can accept Customized Product.

GH4033 Metallographic Structure:

The alloy has a single-phase austenitic structure in the solution state, and there are trace amounts of TiC and TIN[Ti(C, N). GH4033 process performance and requirements:
1. The alloy has good thermal processing performance, with a forging heating temperature of 1140°C and a final forging temperature of 950°C°C
2. The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the deformation degree of the forging and the final forging temperature.
3. The alloy can be welded in argon arc in the solution state, and should be treated in time after welding to eliminate welding stress.
4. Surface treatment process: The machined parts need to be electropolished, and if mechanical polishing is adopted, the final polishing wear mark should be consistent with the length of the blade.
5. The heating speed of the solution treatment of parts should not be too fast, and the stepped heating curve can be adopted.
