Product Advantages
Compared to standard pure titanium tube, steel tubes, and aluminum material alloy tube, Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) seamless titanium tubes offer outstanding overall performance and are well suited for high precision, high load, and highly corrosive operating conditions:
Ultra-high specific strength, essential for lightweight design: With a density of only 4.43 g/cm³, it is 40% lighter than steel, far exceeds the strength of pure titanium tubes, and is twice as strong as aluminum alloys. At equivalent strength levels, it can significantly reduce the overall weight of equipment, perfectly meeting the lightweight design requirements of the aerospace, marine, and precision equipment industries, while effectively reducing energy consumption and operational loads.
Exceptional corrosion resistance, suitable for complex operating conditions: It exhibits excellent resistance to seawater, chloride ions, acids, alkalis, salts, and weak organic acids. It can withstand high-salt marine fog, chemical corrosive media, and electroplating/electrolysis environments over the long term. It is resistant to oxidation, rust, and aging, with a service life 3–5 times longer than that of ordinary Stainless Steel Pipe.
Stable performance across a wide temperature range: Under normal operating conditions, it withstands temperatures ranging from -196°C to 400°C. It maintains stable mechanical strength and toughness even at high temperatures, without deformation or brittle fracture, making it suitable for high-temperature heat exchange and low-temperature precision fluid transport applications.
Seamless, one-piece construction with exceptional sealing performance: Formed through integral extrusion, it features no weld seams, pores, or sand holes. The tube wall is uniform and dense, offering excellent pressure-bearing capacity. It meets the requirements for high-pressure fluid, vacuum, and sealed pipeline transportation, eliminating the risk of leaks.
Excellent processability and adaptability: It offers superior weldability, bendability, and machinability, allowing for secondary processing such as cutting, bending, drilling, and polishing. It also possesses good biocompatibility, making it suitable for medical implant-grade applications.
Fatigue and deformation resistance: With a uniform and stable microstructure, these pipes offer strong resistance to impact, fatigue, and deformation. They are unlikely to fail under long-term high-frequency operation or high-pressure cycling conditions, resulting in lower equipment operation and maintenance costs.
