Key Advantages
1. Exclusive resistance to reductive corrosion, suitable for strong acid environments
Standard pure titanium is resistant only to oxidative media and is prone to corrosion and failure in hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, and reducing organic acids. Gr7 titanium plate, modified with palladium, can be used stably over the long term in low-concentration hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, and mixed reducing acid-base media, completely resolving the challenge of high-cost alternatives to standard titanium, stainless steel, and Hastelloy.
2. Exceptional Resistance to Crevice Corrosion and Pitting Corrosion
In confined crevices, damp interstitial spaces, salt fog-prone areas, and environments with media buildup, it is highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, and intergranular corrosion. It is ideal for corrosion-prone hard-to-reach areas such as heat exchanger gaps, equipment linings, and sealing contact surfaces, effectively eliminating localized perforation and leakage issues.
3. Stable High-Temperature Corrosion Resistance
It withstands the erosion of corrosive media at temperatures up to 150°C. The passivation film does not decompose or fail in high temperature environments, and shows no aging or peeling during long term operation, making it suitable for high-temperature chemical reaction, evaporation, and concentration process equipment.
4. Excellent Weldability and Consistent Corrosion Protection Throughout
The welded areas retain excellent corrosion resistance after welding, eliminating the need for additional corrosion protection. Unlike ordinary titanium materials, these welds do not corrode or fail, ensuring uniform and consistent corrosion protection across the entire equipment. This makes it suitable for equipment fabricated from single piece welded plates.
5. Non-magnetic, clean, durable, and maintenance free
The titanium material is non-magnetic, non-toxic, and non-polluting; it does not interfere with precision equipment or contaminate chemical media or pharmaceutical solutions. Once the equipment is fabricated, there is no need for frequent anti-corrosion coating or replacement. Its service life is 8–15 times longer than that of 316L stainless steel, significantly reducing operation and maintenance costs.
