How is 316 Stainless Steel Plate?

316 Stainless Steel is a molybdenum-containing stainless steel grade. Also can be called SUS316, the total performance of the steel is better than 310 and 304 stainless steel. 316SS stainless steel characteristics: corresponding to China's grade 0Cr17Ni12Mo2, Austenitic Stainless Steel, good corrosion resistance,316 stainless steel is molybdenum-containing stainless steel. 316 Stainless Steel also has a good and chloride erosion properties, so it is usually used in marine environments. 316 Stainless steel is a molybdenum-containing stainless steel. 316ss is a molybdenum-containing stainless steel grade. Product Characteristics

SUS316 stainless steel plasticity, toughness, cold change, welding process performance is good,316 high-temperature strength is good, 316L high-temperature performance is slightly worse, but corrosion resistance is better than 316, due to the low carbon content and contains 2% -3% of molybdenum, improves the corrosion resistance to reducing salts and a variety of inorganic and organic acids, alkalis, salts, and at the same time high-temperature sexual strength.
Basic features

(1) Cold rolled products have good glossy appearance;
(2) Excellent corrosion resistance, especially pitting resistance, due to the addition of Mo (2-3%)
(3) Excellent strength at high temperature
(4) Excellent work-hardening properties (weak magnetism after processing)
(5) solid solution state non-magnetic
(6) Good welding performance. Can be welded by all standard welding methods. Welding can be performed with 316Cb, 316L or 309Cb stainless steel filler rod or electrode, respectively, depending on the application. For optimum corrosion resistance, welded sections of 316 stainless steel need to be annealed after welding. If 316L stainless steel is used, no post weld annealing is required.

Solid solution treatment:1010~1150℃
Metallographic organization: austenitic in character
